Salting the Tail

2011, Black Box Theatre, Oslo, Norway
Collaborative performance with Namik Mackic.
Salting the Tail is an anti-spectacle about image production as a way of constructing meaning, in a back and forth motion between offer and withdrawal. It is a reciprocal relationship that plays out in a series of aborted attempts at representation in a playful and transparent format. Salting the Tail simultaneously builds and undermines the inception of a personal tale as well as exposing the working process within the theatrical framework.
The tension between the performers constantly reveals the distance between a thought and it’s actualization, eventually leading the narrative to disintegrate into it’s own murky origins.
